JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical and commercial management of projects;
Definition of system requirements;
Detailed system design;
Control software implementation;
Equipment procurement;
Project documentation;
Customer liaison;
System testing;
Commissioning assistance;
Technical and commercial sales support;
Application development;
Mentoring for Junior Project Engineers and Project Engineers.
REQUIREMENTS:
A Degree in the relevant engineering discipline or alternative engineering qualifications backed up by a proven track record in a similar engineering environment;
A minimum of 3 years experience in process control systems or related SCADA systems using a variety of PLC, SCADA systems and 3rd party software;
A good working knowledge of electronic process instrumentation systems engineering, coupled with a strong understanding of PC based SCADA systems;
Technical, and preferably also commercial, management of process control system projects;
Heat treatment application experience is essential;
Know thruster and DC driver;
Fluent English;
Excellent communication skills with Customers, Sales and Engineering colleagues.
