Disable any software firewall or configure them to allow BootP to operate. This may require working with the local IT group. A possible alternative would be to reboot the computer in Safe Mode With Networking, which should prevent the s/w firewall from booting.
Reconfigure or remove hardware firewall. Again, this should be done with the assistance of the local IT group.
Disable wireless card.
Check the computers network setup for multiple IP address entries, reducing them to only one can resolve this issue.
On Windows 7, 2008 Server or above, change the network type to "Home" or "Work". Alternatively, try running BootP from another computer that does not use these operating systems.
