1.  Lead Component Engineer

Responsibility:

Ø         Join the Control Systems Technology Component Engineering team and become one of the electronic and mechanical component experts of GE Fanuc. Function as an engineering consultant for the Technology Engineering teams on all new and legacy designs. Daily responsibilities include, maintaining a component database, which is the focal point of component information for the entire business, along with any/all of the following.

Ø         Work closely with Hardware Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, PWB layout Engineers, Production Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing groups to ensure that GE Fanuc products will be producible and competitive, meeting the design specifications and customer expectations

Ø         Responsible for an extensive portfolio of components including agency certification and compliance

Ø         Interface with supplier representatives, obtaining information and samples on current and new technologies within their respective assigned component commodities
