I want to use the Hilscher CIF30-PB card to communicate with other remote device,and the max distance from these device to the CIF30-PB station is 550m. The cable we want to use is the special “A ” type cable. The profibus protocol is Profibus FMS. According to the profibus manual, if the baud rate is 500kbit/s,the cable type is “A ” ,the Max.distance meter Is 400m. But we must keep the baud rate to be 500 kbit/s ,and kepp the profibus FMS protocol How can I do? Where to buy the “A” type cable? If we use a repeater, where to buy the repeater? Which type repeater we must buy?
