your question is so universal that it is difficult to answer. in a word all industrial ethernet is based on ethernet on the level of physical layer and data link layer. ,and the fieldbus is on their special speciation on the two levels. For fieldbus there are not network layer and transport layer.But the two layers are necessary for industrial ethernet.
