我谈谈吧：L-chip优于Neuron chip之处：
1) Dynamic NVs
2) Parallel transaction spaces: multiple outgoing messages at same time, whereas Neuron Chip must wait for completion of transaction (ACK, RESPONSE, last retry) until next message/NV update can be sent. This limitation of the Neuron Chip/MIP most developers recongnize when their
product is finished and it is to late.
3) Unlimited receive + transmit buffers
4) 1024 address table entries (only 15 at MIP/Neuron Chip - bad limitation）
5) Advanced duplicate detection
6) Process up to 40000 messages/sec

1. LonMaker/LNS could not automatically find and use NIC709 if Echelons PCLTA-20/PPC-10 has been never installed on the PC before. The customers have to modify Windows Register to let LonMaker/LNS tool find and use NIC709 interface. Could you let me know when NIC709 new driver available?
The new driver (version 2.2) is already available on our website. You can download it from http://www.loytec.com/english/download/nic.htm

Q2. Now some customers in China have following needs.They (including LNS users ) want to know how to use NIC709 and Orion Stack API on the PC to monitor and control existing LonWorks networks, Orion API support Neuron Chip based node and networks?
A2.The ORION Stack is fully EIA-709 compatible, so of course you can also communicate with Neuron Chip based nodes and networks. You can also commission a ORION based node with LNS Tools.

Q3.Could you give us some Orion sample codes, such as monitor and control network variables on Neuron Chip based nodes from existing networks configured by LonMaker?
A3.You can find an example in the NIC driver package, together with the ORION API documentation.The customer should have a look at the ORION API manual.Using our NIC driver it is already possible to run OPC servers on the NIC709. You can try NLOPC from Newron system. (www.newron-system.com).
