Title: China Projects Engineer

Report to :China Projects Manager

Location: Shanghai

Principle Accountabilities:

*Assist the China Projects Manager in carrying out design, configuration, installation, commissioning, training, and other project support activities.

*Work with customers, local partners, consultants, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to achieve satisfactory outcomes.

*Plan, monitor, and report on the status of projects site activities.

*Coordinate projects activities to achieve overall projects goals.

*Work as a team with other project members in China and assist Brisbane/Hong Kong staff when on site.

Competency:

Degree holder or above in engineering or any related disciplines.

At least 5 years experience in project engineering practice. 

Experience in project implementation using defined processes and methodologies. 

Experience in working in a project site environment and support to head office.

Ability to interact effectively with customers toward positive project outcomes.

Effective communications, both verbal and written, in Mandarin and English.

Ability for technical translation between English and Mandarin.

Practical experience in software based projects.

Knowledge in Unix (Solaris, Linux) and  C++. 

Knowledge of the project site operation and safety practices applicable to railway projects. 

Knowledge of railway practices and operation (advantage).

Pay range 10-15K/M
