Recently there has been many reports about problems with products made in China.
Dangerous chemicals had been found on Children's clothes, baby napkins and toys and several food products.
Now a series of containers were blocked in the harbour because some toxic gasses were present in the container (which is often used to get rid of rodents and so on). In the case of the containers I think it was not China to blame, but just the transporter who didn't follow the correct procedures. 
Anyway, it fired up the discussion about safety of Chinese products again. And on a TV report some Chinese nationals clamed that for certain items they often bought foreign products because they didn't had confidence in the Chinese made ones.
I had quite some good experiences with Chinese products, but if I tell my friends/colleagues about this, they can sometimes hardly believe it, many have become very skeptic
!
I'm wondering now.... do you also sometimes prefer foreign products because of safety issues or not?
