Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Under limited supervision, the Account Manager works primarily with direct customer accounts within a vertical industry to achieve respective financial goals established as part of the overall sales plan. The Account Manager must be willing and able to directly sell, promote and service all products in the portfolio with the defined accounts within the assigned vertical industry. Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Identify target customers and develop account specific sales plans
Work with existing accounts, as well as developing new accounts and relationships to grow sales.
Take leadership role in major customer agreements and sales opportunities
Develop and deliver proposals and participate in contract review(s)
Coordinate and integrate sales efforts with inside, outside, international, and Channel partner sales resources.
Work with Eurotherm Business Development, GKAM, and Vertical Industry Sales Teams to support development of strategic accounts or opportunities
Provide regular sales forecasts for defined accounts
Document day-to-day customer communications in company-wide CRM.
Provide sales feedback to Eurotherm marketing on competitive information, required product(s), features, and new market opportunities.
Work with marketing to regionally promote new and existing products to maximize sales
Provide monthly report of territory performance, activities, business forecast, opportunity and project tracking, and business issues.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with direct customers and 3rd party sales channels to maximize sales of products and services in specified vertical industry.
Localized customer technical support, as required
Localized training of key customers and channel partners
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are required. Must be willing and able to travel as required (estimated 25% to 75%). Additional qualifications include:
Technical competence and familiarity with personal computers and software;
Must have a broad knowledge of industrial instrumentation;
Heat Treatment specific process knowledge;
Heat treatment applications and solutions sales skills;
Comfortable with talking on the telephone with customers, sales people, and other related business contacts;
Strong customer present
